After-hours AI answering for medical practices
When your office is closed, calls forward to the AI. It gives an emergency notice, takes the message and marks urgent calls for your team to see first.
Plan who sees urgent messages at night before you turn this on. The AI can tell a caller with an emergency to call 911 and alert your staff, but it does not replace your on-call arrangement.
Evening and weekend calls: Callers leave their details, and the list is ready when your team opens.
Emergencies: Chest pain, trouble breathing, stroke signs and severe bleeding are told to call 911.
Same-day concerns: If it is unsure, it marks the call urgent and tells the caller to call 911 if things get worse.
Missed calls: If a caller hangs up, the practice can choose to send one text back between 8am and 9pm.
Frequently asked questions
Does it replace our on-call doctor?
No. It takes messages and does not give medical advice. Keep your on-call arrangement in place.
Who is told about urgent calls?
Your staff get an alert with no patient details in it, and open the message in the inbox.
