An AI medical answering service for doctors' offices

A medical answering service takes calls your office can't. This one is an AI answering agent, and it says so on every call. It takes the message and sends it to your inbox.

An AI answering agent suits offices that mainly need messages taken accurately when lines are busy or closed. If you need a person who can reason through a clinical call, or an on-call nurse, a staffed service is the better choice. It does not triage.

What it does: Answers calls, says it is an AI, and takes the name, callback number and reason for the call.

What it won't do: It won't book appointments, approve refills, read results or give medical advice.

Where messages go: Messages land in one inbox with online bookings, with urgent calls marked.

What it costs: $199 per location a month, with 300 AI-answered minutes included. Never per patient or per booking.

Frequently asked questions

Is an AI answering service HIPAA compliant?

There is no HIPAA certification. No real patient call happens until a Business Associate Agreement is signed with your practice and with the vendors that handle the call.

Does it triage patients?

No. It tells callers with an emergency to call 911, marks urgent calls for your team, and does not assess symptoms.

How much does it cost?

The test is free for 7 days, for up to 50 calls. After that it is $199 per location a month, with 300 minutes included and $0.25 a minute above that.
